Rosa led enterprise-wide strategies to improve patient experience, health equity, inclusion, and community health through technology.
She co-led the EPIC Implementation Patient Experience Committee, partnered with IT to design and launch the MyTuftsMed app using Amazon AWS and AI for language automation, and developed value-based dashboards, training, and rollout plans to enhance access, payments, and medical record use for patients and staff.
NYC Health + Hospitals SVP and Chief People/Experience Office
As officer of the City of NYC, working for Mayor De Blasio, Rosa was responsible for 60K employees.
Former Senior Vice President and Chief Diversity, Equity, and Learning Officer at Christiana Care Health System
Rosa led the implementation of the Cerner electronic medical record with physicians, using a change management model to integrate technology into clinical and administrative workflows. She also built a Learning Institute and Physician and Resident Leadership Academy that earned “Best in Class” recognition for training, community engagement, and LGBTQ initiatives, and established governance structures to ensure provider and community voices shaped design and implementation.
Earlier in her career, she worked at Bristol Myers-Squibb and, SmithKline Beecham (since renamed GlaxoSmithKline), leading change, cultural transformation, supply chain, IT Implementations (SAP, EPIC, Workday) learning and talent management, leadership development, and lean/Six Sigma functions in Asia, Europe, North America, and Puerto Rico.
